Before leaving Germany and heading via Austria towards Slovenia today, Chef Heinz Winkler also wanted to see our HYMER mobile home and waited already excited until we arrived.

As usual he had a charming attitude and some funny comments concerning our trip. With lots of interest he inspected our HYMER mobile home gave us indispensably tips and invited us for lunch.

Besides he was happily sniffing and testing the Truffles from Istria, Croatia, brought by a friend and entertained us with a glass of champagne to start with. With lots of sunshine we enjoyed Gnocchi with a cream of chives, stewed calf’s cheek and as dessert a trilogy of lime fruits.

Thankful and inspired, full of power we now started our day trip to Slovenia and Chef Steve Jukic.
