We almost attacked Chef Joseph Peter with the short term we gave him to pass by whilst he was busy like hell. Eight month he was fighting for the allowance to get a Chinese Noodle Artist in his restaurant who is able to make out of a lump of paste hundreds of meters of noodles in less then a minute only with his two hands. Today was the day of his arrival and Chef Joseph and staff were overexcited.
Different kind of press, radio and TV were present, visitors passed by and a former colleague of Chef Joseph who worked with him together as his Executive Chef some 30 years ago at the Hilton Caracas attended the event.
Nevertheless Chef Joseph took his time and had a long chat with us. He told us about his decades outside Germany working all around the world as Executive Chef and we were inspired about the knowledge and passion this man combines. All his stories he is telling with Bavarian humour and if he would have not chosen to become a chef, he would have been a perfect entertainer. Combing both the first guests who arrived were happy to be greeted by Chef Joseph personally.
Unforgettable are still the Asian delights we were allowed to taste and certainly the jokes and the fascinating stories from the Bavarian Artist of Flavours.
Resume:
The mix of Asian and Bavarian at the Mangostin is unique and wonderful. With his knowledge Chef Joseph can easily compete with Chef Alfons Schuhbeck. Chef Joseph prefers to make his guests happy with excellent Asian cuisine and an unbeatable charm.
